You are thinking about applying abroad, but you are not sure how to prepare your application documents in English? In our seminar Applying Internationally, we will discuss all formalities you have to consider while writing your CV and cover letter, with a focus on the US and UK. With tips and guidelines, we will prepare you for your start into an international career.


Content and goals

Part 1: Workshop – Letter of motivation for stays abroad (1 hour at ZAS)

  • Content and structure of a letter


ZBP’s career counselors share their knowledge with students and graduates. Besides the presentation of content in the letter of motivation, special attention is also paid to the individuality and creativity of applications.

Part 2: Small group session (30 min at ZBP)

  • Differences between Austrian & UK/US résumés
  • General dos and don’ts of résumé writing


In our small group session we will discuss all formalities you have to consider while writing your CV and cover letter, with a focus on the US and UK.
