In this data protection section, we are providing you with information on the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website www.zbp.at.
 
Please read this declaration carefully before using our website as it outlines how we may gather, process, and store personal data. Any access to our Internet site and each download of files stored on our website are recorded. Storage serves internal, system-related, and statistical purposes. What is recorded: Name of downloaded file, date and time of download, notification of successful download, web browser, domain from which query originates, IP address of computer from which query is submitted, search terms, (...)*.

2. Data processing 

    1. Use of website, cookies

When you access the websites operated by us under the domains of www.zbp.at, blog.zbp.at, and www.careercalling.at (“ZBP Websites”), various data is collected and processed that offer an insight into your use of the Websites. Such data is collected by means of so called cookies. Those are small text files that are stored on your accessing device via the web browser you use.

        1. Cookies used and data collected 

          1. Session Cookies
 
“Session cookies” are temporary files that are stored on your accessing device when you access the respective website. Those cookies record what device and what browser software you are using to access the ZBP Websites. The session cookies that are used are deleted once you leave the website in question.

          2. Google Maps (of third parties) 
This website uses Google Maps to display maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of any data collected automatically or entered by you by Google, one of their representatives, or any third parties. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy.

 

          3. Matomo (formerly “Piwik”)

ZBP Websites use Matomo (formerly “Piwik”), a web analysis service of InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington (NZ). Matomo will store several cookies on your device which will record the following data: Your anonymized IP address and - based on that - your location data, date and time of your page views, titles and URLs of the pages accessed, the URL of the page from which you access each website (“Referrer URL”), the resolution of your display, the files which on which you click or download, the links you click on pages outside our Websites (“Outlinks”), the search terms you enter in the search function of our Websites, the time needed by the server to load the site in quite and by you to access such page (“Page Speed”), as well as information on the browser software you use. The cookies stored by Matomo will remain on your device until you delete them.

          4. Access data/server logfiles

We will collect data on accesses to the homepage (so called server logfiles).  Such access data shall include: Name of accessed website, file, date and time of access, data volume transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, user's operating system, referrer URL (previously visited site), IP address and accessing provider.
 
We shall use the logged data exclusively for statistical evaluations for the purposes of operations, security, and optimization of the website. However, we reserve the right to review the logged data at a later point if there is any specific indication causing a reasonable suspicion of illegal use.

          5. Use of links

This website contains links to other websites. Note that if you click on such a link leading to third-party websites, such websites will have their own privacy provisions. Please make sure to review the privacy provisions when using those websites since we cannot assume any responsibility or liability for websites of third parties.

        2. Processing purposes and legal basis 

The collection and processing of data gathered via session cookies serves the purpose of adapting our website to the technical infrastructure you are using.
 
We use the data collected by the cookies placed by Matomo and processed by us to allow us to analyze use of the website.
 
The legal basis for the processing of your data for the purposes stated above is your consent - which you provide based on your browser settings in which you allow the placing of cookies - pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR[AK8]  (cf ErwG 32 DSGVO). You can withdraw such consent at any time by deactivating the placing of cookies (see here).

         3. Storage period 

Any data collected when our Websites are used is anonymized immediately after being recorded and stored in a form that makes identification impossible. No personal data within the meaning of Art 4 fig 1 GDPR will be stored.      

        4. Deactivation of cookies / Withdrawal of consent to data processing 

You have the possibility to deactivate the placing of cookies by Matomo via the checkbox in the lower border (at the end of the page). Once you deactivate the placing of cookies by Matomo, a cookie (“piwik_ignore”) will be stored on your device which will prevent any further collection of your data when using our website.

         5. Your rights

Due to the anonymization of the processed data immediately after it is recorded, it will not be possible for us to identify you on the basis of such data. Therefore, the regulations on your rights as a party concerned by data processing regarding information, correction, deletion, restriction of data processing and data transmission (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR) shall not apply unless, in exercising your rights, you provide us with additional information that would allow us to identify you (Art. 11 para 2 GDPR). If you believe that we are in violation of current data protection legislation when processing your data, it is your prerogative to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

2. Inquiries to ZBP 

   1. Processing purposes and legal basis of data processing

Any personal data you submit when asking about our services will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The legal basis for this is your consent under Art 5 para 5 lit a GDPR, which you give us by providing us with your data in your inquiry. To the extent that your inquiry refers to the conclusion of a contract with you, we will specifically also use the data you provide to take any pre-contractual measures that may be required. Such processing is permitted under Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR.

   2. Storage period 

Your data will be stored only for as long as is necessary to handle your inquiry. If your inquiry leads to the conclusion of a contract, your data will be further processed for the purposes of contract execution.

   3. Your rights 

Under current data protection regulations, you have the right to demand from us information, correction, and deletion of your personal data, as well as the right to restrict the processing of your data where applicable. Furthermore, you have the right to demand that we provide you with any data we have collected about you and process in an automated fashion on a standard storage medium or to a third party you name. If you believe that we are in violation of current data protection legislation when processing your data, it is your prerogative to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
